State First Aid and Nursing Competition is one of the most important state annual event. It is mend to standardize the first aid skills of members from different Areas at the same time further upgrade their skills to higher level.

The competition is divided into four major events. The teams categorized to Ambulance Adults, Ambulance Cadets, Nursing Adults and Nursing Cadets will take part in events such as Short Case ( 1-2 casualties scenario ), footdrill test and written paper. Only the ambulance teams will take part in Long Case ( multiple casualties ) while the Nursing teams will take part in the Home Nursing test.

The competition will test the teams on foot-drill, first-aid skills, teamwork, works allocation and leadership. Only the best team in all these categories will emerge as champion and represent State in the National First Aid and Nursing Competition.
